    BLEND is located in a mixed-use commercial building on Hull Street in Richmond’s Art District. While we keep the space quiet and professional, you may occasionally hear light sounds from the hallway or outside traffic. For podcast or audio-focused sessions, we recommend booking during early morning or quieter weekday hours.

    💡 Lighting

    Our studio features large front-facing windows that fill the space with natural daylight. The brightest times are between 10 AM – 2 PM, offering clean, even light perfect for portraits and product shoots.
    Curtains are available to diffuse brightness but are not blackout curtains. For full light control or evening shoots, we recommend using our in-house lighting equipment.

    🚗 Parking

    Free street parking is available along Hull Street and Bainbridge Street — just a short walk to the studio entrance. Please double-check posted signs before parking.
    Parking directly in front of the studio is limited during business hours, so we recommend arriving a few minutes early to find the best spot.

    BLEND Studio is not responsible for tickets, towing, or booted vehicles. Please ensure you’re parked legally before your session begins.

FAQ

  • BLEND is open by appointment only. Studio hours typically run Monday–Sunday from 8 AM to 10 PM, but extended or overnight hours may be available upon request. Please check your booking confirmation for specific times.

  • All guests and members are expected to follow BLEND’s studio guidelines to ensure a safe, respectful, and creative environment. This includes respecting booking times, keeping the space clean, and avoiding damage to studio equipment or property. A full list of rules is provided upon booking.

  • Your setup and breakdown time will be included within your scheduled booking. We allow at least 15 minutes before and after your session for setup and cleanup.

  • BLEND is located on the ground level and is wheelchair accessible. If you or your team require special accommodations, please contact management before your session so we can ensure the space meets your needs.

    • we do have entry way challenges for getting bigger props/ gear in. please ask ahead of time

  • Guests will receive a unique door code prior to their session for secure entry. Please do not share this code outside your team. Entry and exit times are automatically logged for safety.

  • Multiple outlets are available throughout the studio, including standard 120V plugs and dedicated power strips near the cyc wall and desk area. If you’re bringing your own lighting or high-power equipment, please check with staff beforehand to confirm compatibility.

  • For the safety of our guests and equipment, security cameras are active 24/7 in all common areas. Cameras are not monitored in private spaces such as bathrooms or dressing areas.

  • Cancellations made 48 hours before your scheduled session may be eligible for a credit or partial refund. Sessions canceled within 48 hours are non-refundable. Rescheduling is available depending on studio availability.

  • We value your privacy. Any content captured in the studio remains the property of the creator. BLEND will never share, post, or reproduce your work without your consent. All personal data collected through bookings is securely stored and used only for studio operations.
